I love organic produce AND people who are inspired to make a difference in their communities.
Please consider voting for Robin Emmons, a Charlotte woman who is one of the CNN Top Ten Heroes. She is the visionary founder of the local Charlotte nonprofit, Sow Much Good
The mission of Sow Much Good, Inc. is to eliminate socioeconomic, racial and ethnic health disparities resulting from lack of access to fresh fruits and vegetables. Robin tore up her 9 acre backyard to create a garden to serve people in need. Since 2008, Robin and her loyal volunteers (200 at last count) have grown 26,000 pounds of produce and are working hard to eliminate the “food deserts” in Charlotte – areas of our community where there is no access to fresh produce.
Voting ends in 6 short days on November 17th and Robin is working to secure as many votes as possible to increase the chances of winning the honor and the cash prize to further the work of Sow Much Good. You can learn more and vote here.
Please feel free to share the link and the opportunity to vote with your friends, colleagues, and any other networks that may have interest in supporting the effort to get out the vote for Robin and Sow Much Good.
Remember, you can vote once a day with each of your email addresses.
Please consider supporting Robin with your vote. Thank you.
